You're Invited!

You are cordially invited to attend a GRAND BATTLE to decide the next winner of the Hundred Years War.

Where: A field, outside Agincourt (or ‘Azincourt’), France.

When: 25th October, 1415 (St Crispin’s Day, if you’re keeping track of that kind of thing).

Dress: Chain mail is a must. Venue liable to get muddy, bring appropriate footwear. And swords.

VIP Guests: Henry V, the Duke of Orleans, the Duke of Bourbon, the Constable of France.

Entertainment: Declaiming of appropriate lines from Shakespeare’s Henry V (even though Shakespeare isn’t born yet), ‘cry ‘God for Harry, England and St George.’’ Scenes from Band of Brothers (though entirely anachronistic) may also be shown to get us in the mood.

Finding the venue: How will you know how to get there? Just follow the balloons signs. You can’t miss it.

* Parking, for ponies, luggage trains and camp-followers, is available.
